PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a manufacturing method of a reflection type liquid crystal device having a reflection electrode which reduces electrocorrosion, oxidation or damage of a wiring part and facilitates cleaning treatment while suppressing rise in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The reflection electrode 13 and wiring 14 are formed on a surface of a substrate 11 and a transparent electrode 17 and wiring 18 are formed on a surface of a substrate 12. The transparent electrode 17 is formed in a liquid crystal encapsulating region 12A of the substrate 12 and the wiring 18 is formed so as to be extracted from the liquid crystal encapsulating region 12A to a projecting region 12B. The wiring 18 is provided with leader wiring 18a which is respectively conductively connected with respective transparent electrodes 17 and connection wiring 18b which is not conductively connected with the transparent electrodes 17. The connection wiring 18b is conductively connected with the reflection electrode via the wiring 14 and upper and lower conducting material 21. |
