PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for preventing a gaseous refrigerant from flowing a refrigerant liquid pump for sending a refrigerant to an indoor heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In a cooling operation, a liquefied refrigerant is boosted by a refrigerant liquid pump 11, decompressed and expanded by an indoor cooling throttle 14, introduced as a low temperature refrigerant into an indoor heat exchanger 15, and heat exchanged with the indoor air to cool the indoor air. A low pressure refrigerant evaporated by the exchanger is cooled by a water heat exchanger 20 in which water in a thermal storage tank 7 is circulated by a water pump 14 to become a lowest temperature and condensed. A refrigerant gas-liquid separator 22 for separating the refrigerant into a liquid refrigerant and a a gaseous refrigerant is disposed at outlet piping 21 if the exchanger 20 so as to be positioned at a position lower than the exchanger 20, a degassing tube 23 is connected from an upper part of the separator 22 to inlet piping 19 of the exchanger 20, and only the liquid refrigerant is sent from the separator 22 to the pump 11.
