PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease magnetic reluctance between stamped plates for iron cores adjoining in a circumferential direction by inserting magnetic interpositions, in the gaps existing in circumferential joints of adjoining stamped plates for iron cores. SOLUTION: Stamped plates 5 for iron cores are arranged annularly, and laminated in an axial direction to constitute a stator core. Each stamped plate 5 for iron cores is formed into the shape of a folding fan having slots for inserting coils in its radial internal peripheral part. The plates 5 are arranged annularly with gaps at the joints 6 of the plates 5 adjoining in a circumferential direction, and they are laminated so that the joints 6 of the plates 5 may not lap over at each layer. Magnetic interpositions 11 are inserted into the gaps of the joints 6 of the plates 5, in the stator of a rotating electric machine. The magnetic interpositions 11 are made from molding material containing magnetic iron powder. Consequently, magnetic reluctance in the gaps of the joints of the stamped plates for iron cores of the laminated iron core is reduced, and its magnetic saturation characteristic becomes excellent, and an iron loss in the stamped plates for iron cores is reduced.
