PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the lowering of spring repulse force used for separator of MOX fuel assembly transportation and make reusable the separator for the MOX fuel assembly transportation. SOLUTION: A processor 1 prior to use of separator for MOX fuel assembly transportation is constituted of a peruse processing jig 2 and an electric furnace 3. The peruse processing jig 2 is provided with a rack 21 with a thickness d2 piling with constant intervals d1 in layer in the height wise direction. The d1 is equals to the intervals of adjacent fuel rods in the MOX fuel assembly 100 arranged in a square grid. The d2 is designed to be equal to the diameter of the fuel rods. In peruse processing, the heat resistive resin made separator 200 for MOX fuel assembly transportation is installed, plate springs 220 is inserted in the gap of each rack. At this moment, similar bend to the case of installing the Separator 200 for MOX fuel assembly is given to the plate spring 220.
