摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain complete hardening of the sealant for adhesion of substrates with only ultraviolet rays irradiation or only with heating and to solve problems caused by defective adhesion of the sealant by using the specified sealant composition. SOLUTION: The sealant composition contains an ultraviolet ray setting acrylic resin composition comprising a photo radical initiator and an acrylate ester resin, an ultraviolet ray setting epoxy resin composition comprising a photo cationic initiator and an epoxy resin, an organic peroxide and talc particles in a hybrid state in which atoms on the surface of the talc particle are bonded with an epoxy compound in the molecular level so as to make the surface of the talc particle be covered with the epoxy compound and is provided with binary ultraviolet ray setting and thermosetting property. In this case the added amount of the talc particles in the hybrid state is preferably 10-70 wt.% in the binary setting sealant. Also for the purpose of improving the adhesive property of the binary setting sealant an epoxy acrylate is preferably used as the acrylate ester resin.
