The device consists of a sled (1), which is displaced, under the sunken bed (2), in order to raise it. The sled is linked (3) to a driving unit (4) and the link mechanism is rigid and projects out sideways from the sled, such that as the sunken bed is raised the link mechanism passes under the feet of the growing bed.
