PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sealed phosphor plate with a smaller region of image deficiency and a method for manufacturing the plate. SOLUTION: A stimulable phosphor plate 101 is formed in a film 111 folded in two is sealed by a folded and sealed structure where three sides other than a folded side are sealed. Consequently, the width of the sealed selvage of the folded side can be narrowed and a region of image deficiency can be lessened.
