PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude the need for manually moving an intelligent module again and again for completing the flow of a desired job by mutually connecting intelligent modules through a data interface, such as the cable of great data throughput in order to form a system network. SOLUTION: In an imaging system 20, for example, a digital camera 24 has an intelligent module 24, which can be connected attachably and detachably, provided with a user interface 25 composed of an LCD screen combined with a controller. The intelligent module 24 of the camera 22 is connected via a cable segment 28 to an intelligent module 26 of an APS film scanner 27. Furthermore, this intelligent module 24 is connected via cable segments 33 and 37 to an archiver 30 and a printer 34, having intelligent modules 32 and 36. |
