<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture generation system and an information storage medium which are capable of generating a picture of a display object which cannot be essentially represented by a single three-dimensional model. SOLUTION: Model data to be used for picture generation of a single three- dimensional model 10 is selected from plural model data prepared for display of the three-dimensional model 10 on the basis of the relative angle between the direction of an arrow CD of a virtual camera 20 and that of an arrow MD of the three-dimensional model, and a picture seen from the virtual camera 20 in an object space is generated on the basis of selected model data. Local positions, shapes, and display/non-display of parts are made different by model data. Model data for each relative angle is generated from a 2D picture script for each relative angle. Interpolation processing of model data is performed, and a picture of the three-dimensional model 10 is generated on the basis of obtained model data. The three-dimensional model 10 to be switched may be a sub-model like a head model.</p> |
