<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to read received long character information without taking much time by displaying more character information amounts, while opening a cellular phone. SOLUTION: When a 1st case 22 and a 2nd case 23 are folded, a projection 36 provided to the 2nd case 23 closes a switch 28, a selection circuit outputs a control signal to drive only a 2nd display device 31 to a TAB(tape automated bonding), the TAB outputs a drive signal only to a 2nd display device 31, which is brought into a displayable state. However, when the 1st case 22 and the 2nd case 23 are open, the switch 28 is turned off, the selection circuit outputs a control signal to drive both a 1st display device 30 and the 2nd display device 31 to the TAB and the TAB outputs a drive signal to both the 1st display device 30 and the 2nd display device 31, which are brought into a displayable state.</p> |
