<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technique for searching for a buried object whereby effects of reflecting signals can be removed from a surface of a medium irrespec tive of a material of the medium in a searching apparatus which radiates wave signals of electromagnetic waves or sound waves into the medium while moving on the medium surface, receives reflecting signals from the object present in the medium, generates and stores original data having coordinates of a position on the medium surface and a reflecting time with respect to an intensity of receive signals, and investigates a position of the object present in the medium. SOLUTION: The apparatus is with a center value-operating means 32 for obtaining a center value of a receiving signal intensity for every predetermined reflecting time to a plurality of stored original data, a difference-operating means 34 for operating a difference between the stored two-dimensional data and the obtained center value for every predetermined reflecting time and obtaining two-dimensional search data, and an output process means 38 for outputting the searched result in a medium on the basis of the obtained two-dimensional search data.</p> |
