PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display front plate which can be improved in the productivity, which does not decrease the visibility and sharpness of a picture or image projected on the display are not decreased, and which can sufficiently prevent damages such as peeling of an electromagnetic shield layer, and to realize the production method of the plate. SOLUTION: In the production method of the display front plate, a shield mesh 15 having shielding property against electromagnetic waves is housed in a die 10, a liquid material 14 containing a polymerizable resin monomer is injected into the die 10 and the liquid material 14 is polymerized and solidified to obtain the display front plate having a transparent substrate containing the aforementioned resin and having the shield mesh 15 embedded in the transparent substrate.
