PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with picture data inputted by a picture processor dealing with picture data in the same way as a normal electronic mail by a data processor connected with the picture processor. SOLUTION: Picture data received by facsimile equipment 200 through a public line network by facsimile communication are fetched by a personal computer 100, and data in an electronic mail format using the fetched picture data as an accompanying file are prepared, and received in the same way as a normal electronic mail by an electronic mail started by the personal computer 100.
