PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens supporting device with which a damping effect is enhanced and dynamic tangential tilting is reduced by providing a fixed substrate equipped with suitable flexibility to pitching resonance and capable of suppressing deformation caused by displacement in the direction of the optical axis of an objective lens. SOLUTION: A fixed substrate 13 connected to the other end side of an elastic supporting member 3 is constituted so that the direction of an angular moment M1 to be applied to a connecting part with the other end side of the elastic supporting member 3, and the direction of a rotation moment M2 to be applied to the connecting part with the other end side of the elastic supporting member 3 based on a tensile force or compressive force, which is generated in the elastic supporting member 3 by a moving force, can be made mutually opposite in accordance with a distance to the substrate 13 of the moving force when the moving force in a Z-axis direction is operated upon a movable part.
