PURPOSE: To provide a method of suppressing the extension of mildew hypha by drying a substance having a moisture activity value allowing growth of mildew by dew formation or the like in a dwelling environment down to the moisture activity value below the limit to the growth thereof. CONSTITUTION: In a method to suppress the extension of a mildew hypha generating in a substance with a moisture activity value 0.6-1 suitable for the growth of the mildew in a dwelling environment, the substance is dried and kept for one hour or more in the condition of a moisture activity value below 0.6. |
