PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for automatic vending machine which has a high operability and automatically surely locks a control panel to a display panel by only closing a main door even in the case that a worker has forgotten to lock the control panel. SOLUTION: The device is provided with metal fittings 22 and 22 for hooking which are provided in one of the control panel and the display panel, lock metal fittings 24 which are constituted so as to freely move between a lock position where they are engaged with metal fittings 22 and 22 for hooking to lock the display panel with the display panel closed and an unlock position where they are released from metal fittings 22 and 22, an unlock holding part 46 which holds lock metal fittings 24 in the unlock position, and a tension spring 26 which drives lock metal fittings 24 held in the unlock position by the holding part 46 to the lock position in accordance with closure of the main door.
