PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which provides a driver of a vehicle with information of the presence/absence of obstacles around the vehicle or the like without deiver's operation. SOLUTION: The device which provides the driver with safety information in the vicinity of an intersection is provided with a horizontal-direction sensor camera 100 which is provided in a front end of the vehicle and detects the obstacles in a horizontal direction of the vehicle, a monitor and a speaker which are provided in a room of the vehicle, a navigation part 42 which detects a running track of the vehicle, a running processing detection part 46 which detects a running distance of the vehicle, a running speed detection part 50 which detects a running speed of the vehicle, and a central processing part 32 which detects approach or arrival at the intersection on the basis of the running track detected by the navigation part 42, etc., to output a picture on the monitor 24 or makes the speaker 28 to generates a warning.
