PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the procedure of processing, and to increase the processing speed in information terminal equipment by key code-converting each kind of key input to be inputted and executed in the information terminal equipment. SOLUTION: This information terminal equipment is provided with a key inputting means 11, event inputting means 13, 16 and 17 using means other than keys, and a processing means 20 for operating arithmetic processing according to the event. Also, this information terminal equipment is provided with a key code converting means 21 for key code-converting the event input so that the event can be key code-converted and communicated to the processing means as a key code so as to be processed. At the time of operating the event processing by the key input, the event is obtained so that the key code can be automatically obtained, and that the processing corresponding to the event can be immediately operated. Thus, the processing can be simplified, and high processing speed can be attained.
