PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for a communication terminal, that makes automatic transmission with respect to each of telephone numbers in a plurality of modes of a communication opposite party, without the need for troublesome manual operations and can make direct communication (conversation) with the communication opposite party. SOLUTION: A communication network 2, to which a telephone set 1 is connected, is configured as, e.g. a plurality of ISDN lines that can be used simultaneously, and the telephone set 1 has a control function 1a that controls the entire telephone set compositey and 'a line function 1b, a communication function 1c, a display function 1d, and an entry function 1e' that are controlled by this control function 1a. By providing a CPU 1a1, a ROM 1a2 and a RAM 1a3, the control function 1a is executed.
