PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute processing for transmitting a file to each terminal equipment, and to almost simultaneously copy the same file to each terminal by successively copy-transferring a special file by each terminal equipment according to a relay system. SOLUTION: Each terminal equipment TL positioned in the middle of a serial relation is provided with two infrared communication ports. The terminal equipment TL receives a file transmitted from the second infrared communication port of its preceding terminal through the first infrared communication port of the terminal, and copy-preserves it, and judges whether or not the received file is a special file, that is, whether or not an automatic transfer flag is set in the file, and when the file is judged as the special file, the terminal equipment transmits the special file through the second infrared communication port of the terminal to the first infrared communicated port of its following terminal. Thus, the special file can be successively copy-transferred according to a relay system by each terminal equipment TL.
