PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system capable of displaying an image with which the point of occurrence is easily specified when abnormality occurs. SOLUTION: Concerning the monitor camera system provided with a monitor camera 61 having more than one turning axes at least and a controller 70 for controlling the monitor camera, the controller is provided with a moving image detecting means 80 for detecting an image showing a motion from the image of the monitor camera during an automatic monitoring operation and when the moving image detecting means detects a motion in the image, the controller switches operation from automatic monitoring to still monitoring. When a suspicious person who invades a building at night or smoke of fire is detected in the middle of automatic monitoring for successively picking up monitor targets, the camera is stopped at that position, the abnormal point is picked up and an image there is displayed.
