PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide photographic processing device which enables an operator to carry out the attachment and detachment work of a transporting unit to and from a device body without exerting undue load on the operator and improves the workability. SOLUTION: The transporting mechanism 5 of the photographic processing device having an exposure section 23 for subjecting photographic paper to exposure and the transporting mechanism 5 for transporting the photographic paper within the device body has a transporting unit 5A which has transporting means (pressure contact rollers) 7 and is attachable and detachable to and from the device body. This transporting unit 5A is constituted by plural divided units 5B and 5B which are divided to a plurality. The divided unit 5B is preferably composed of a main unit 51 for supporting all drive side rollers 7a and an auxiliary unit 52 for supporting the whole or part of driven side rollers 7b.
