PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a communication system which freely reads contents having relatively a large amount of data, by using clients whose memory capacity is relative small and can quickly provide the data to the clients regardless of traffic between a server and a gateway. SOLUTION: When clients 803 (803A1 to 803AN) acquire data from servers 801 via a gateway 802, the clients 803 store data exceeding the storage limit of their own memories in a client data storage device 813 of the gateway 802 side or a prescribed server over the Internet communication network 811 and can reaquire the data from there. The gateway 802 downloads a URL(uniform resource locator) designated by the clients 803 or a file of URLs decided from a past history, etc., on its own terms by using an automatic cyclic processor 941 and also can quickly offer the URL and the file, when the clients 803 is in need of the URL and the file.
