The suspension testing device consists of lifting devices being typically air bags 22 located between support frames 18 and lifting frames 20. The lifting frames are lowered rapidly and the variations in weights (as determined by load cells, not shown, on the lifting frames) provides information as to the suspension characteristics of the respective vehicle wheels.
