<p>PURPOSE:To put a sheet material conveying path, positioned substantially in a vertical direction, onto one side in the device in the caption to shorten it so as to reduce drive torque by turnably arranging the sheet material conveying path outside an image forming processor in the main body of the device. CONSTITUTION:Sheet materials S in a cassette 9 are fed out one by one by means of a feeding roller 10, and then, they are fed between a photosensitive drum 3 and a transfer charger 12 via a feed guiding member 17 curving downwardly and regist rollers 11, and further, after transferring an image thereon, they are fed to a fixing device 14 by means of a conveyor belt unit 13 substantially in a vertical direction. And next, via a curving ejection guiding member 19, by means of a wrapper 20 the sheet materials S are selectively ejected from a face-up ejecting roller 15a or a face-down ejecting roller 15b onto an ejecting tray 16a or 16b respectively. In addition, at the time of processing any jam, exchanging a cartridge 2 or the like, a member 1A is opened so that a sheet material conveying path becomes a released state substantially over the whole length thereof. Therefore, the conveying path can be shortened so that the driving force thereof can be decreased, and moreover, the number of parts can be reduced.</p> |
