<p>PURPOSE:To improve intake air distribution property by devising an arranging structure of a throttle valve shaft for each intake pipe opening portion opening to a flange portion in the intake device in the caption having an intake branch portion branching a plurality of intake pipes from the flange portion. CONSTITUTION:In a 4-cylinder engine, an intake device 2 consists of a throttle valve portion 4 providing a throttle valve 3 and an intake branch portion for distributing air to each cylinder. The intake branch portion 5 is constructed by a flange portion 6 fitting a throttle valve portion 4 and four intake pipes 7 which is directly branched from the flange portion 6 and is connected to each cylinder. Each opening portion 8 of the intake pipes 7 is separately opened at the flange portion 6 and these opening portions 8 are arranged on the circumference by an equal pitch. In this case, the throttle valve 3 at the throttle valve portion 3 is arranged in a way that a projection of a throttle valve 9 to the flange portion 6 passes through among two intake pipe opening portions 8 and another two opening portions 8.</p> |
