The invention relates to a plane passenger seat that consists of individual seat elements that can be displaced by means of actuator drives. Said actuator drives are controlled by means of a manually operated control device (10) to adjust the seat to the requirements of the user of the seat. The aim of the invention is to provide a passenger seat that allows also the inexperienced user of the seat or passenger to initiate and carry out the desired adjusting movements quickly and without problems. To this end, the control device (10) is provided with levers (12) that reflect, at least for a part of the seat elements, the contours of the corresponding seat element. Said levers are located in a common operating device (14) for adjusting the plane passenger seat and allow an adjustment of the seat elements in a self-explanatory manner.
