PURPOSE: To produce and store decoration slurry for ceramics in a small quantity easily. CONSTITUTION: After removing an outer lid 6 and an inner lid 4 a raw material in the form of a powder and a dispersion medium are poured into a container body 1 through a poring passageway 2 gradually by a suitable quantity at a time and, after closing the pouring passageway 2 airtightly with the inner lid 4 and while the inner lid 4 is pressed under the outer lid 6 or with fingers, the container body 1 is shaken. Then random movements of particles 9 make the raw material in the form of the powder and the dispersion medium mix. To take out the mixture, the inner lid 4 is removed and the outer lid 6 is fitted on the pouring passageway 2 and by holding the pouring passageway 2 down the slurry is discharged through small holes 8 in the outer lid 6 and directly spread on the work in process or taken in a different container. If the slurry remains in any quantity in the container body 1, airtight closure having the inner lid 4 on the pouring passageway 2 keeps the dispersion medium from vaporation, and since the slurry keeps the same concentration as in the beginning, even if the raw material in the form of powder separates and settles, the shaking of the container body 1 causes movements of the particles 9 that mix the raw material and the dispersion medium into a usable state again. |
