The invention relates to a fluid inlet that is especially suitable for feeding exhaust gas into the intake tract of an internal combustion engine. The exhaust gas is led through an inlet pipe (15) and a deflection (18) to the intake pipe (13). A preferably tubular insert is disposed in said intake pipe the walls (22) of which are oriented in the direction of flow of the exhaust gas taken in. The inventive device reduces the thermal stress of the walls to a minimum, thereby making high exhaust recovery rates possible. In order to additionally support cooling of the insert, said insert may comprises bores (26) through which a secondary air current of the intake air which flows through an intermediate chamber (25) can change to the interior of the pipe (21), thereby effecting a film cooling of the insert (23). |
