<p>A hanging device for mounting directly on a hollow member and method of mounting are provided. The hanging device has mounting member (20) with a first surface (27) for resting flush against the hollow member's outer surface. First piercing component (22) has a first leg (26) projecting from the mounting member (20) substantially perpendicular to the first surface (27) thereof, and a second leg (28) extends at substantially right angles to first leg (26). A free end (29) of the second leg (28) has a sharp tip that is insertable in a self-piercing manner through the hollow member. A second piercing component (23) projects from the mounting member (20) substantially perpendicular to the first surface (27) thereof and essentially parallel to the first leg (26) of the first piercing component (22). Free end (32) of the second piercing component has a sharp tip that is also insertable in a self-piercing manner through the hollow member (10). A hanging component (40) is provided on the mounting member (20).</p> |
