PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To straighten a surface current close to an aerator and to prevent an abnormal noise resulting from an eddy current and the staying of scum due to a return current. SOLUTION: A screw 4 is rotated by a motor 2, air is sucked by utilizing the negative pressure produced in a water region at the tip of the screw 4, and bubbles are diffused in the water by this axial aerator 1. In this case, an air guide 6 is furnished. The guide is mounted from 2 to 5m on the upstream side from the screw 4 and from a depth of 1m to the water surface. Consequently, an eddy current is not produced, an air suction noise due to the edge current is prevented, and the resonance of the aerator due to a turbulent flow is obviated.
|
