PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shrinkable aliphatic polyester film, and its manufacture, which has microorganism degradation property, and is low in generated heat quantity when incinerated, excellent in heat shrinkable property, and suitable for shrinkage packaging. SOLUTION: An aliphatic polyester resin synthesized principally of a glycol and an aliphatic dibasic acid or its derivative, which is 4,000-100,000 poise in melt viscosity at 190 deg.C temperature and 100 (sec<-1> ) shear rate, 70-200 deg.C melting point, and 30,000 or over number - average molecular weight, is tubularly, simultaneously and biaxially oriented two or more times lengthwise and breadthwise, respectively within a range of temperature 14-15 deg.C lower than the melting point to 7-30μm thickness. Its lengthwise and crosswise shrinkage percentage at 80 deg.C are respectively 20 or more %. |
