<p>A manganese-zinc ferrite which comprises iron oxide in an amount of 50 to 56 mol % in terms of Fe2O3, manganese oxide in an amount of 21 to 27 mol % in terms of MnO, and zinc oxide in an amount of 20 to 26 mol % in terms of ZnO, as main components, and further comprises phosphorus in an amount of 0.0003 to 0.003 wt %, as a minor component, and has an average crystal grain diameter more than 50 νm and up to 200 νm. The manganese-zinc ferrite exhibits a high magnetic permeability in a broad frequency band and a particularly high magnetic permeability in a frequency band around 10 kHz.</p> |
