<p>A golf tee (10) made from resilient material and formed as two matched members (11, 12) in hinged connection. The tee (10) has a central void (18) for supporting a golf ball (19). Ground engaging portions (14, 15, 16, 17) on each member are locatable on a surface for positioning the tee (10) and a ball (19). The height of the ball (19) may be varied by adjusting the position of the members (11, 12) relative to each other. The tee (10) may include reinforcing ribs or creases (20 ,21) to increase the supporting strength of the tee (10). The tee (10) may also include surfaces to accept printed characters. A method of manufacturing the tee (10) is also described.</p> |
