PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin composition which comprises a polycarbonate and specified amounts of specified very little components, is reduced in the formation of crazes under wet-heat conditions, especially reduced in the formation of crazes when a recycled product is used and suffering little from defects or troubles such as the formation of black dust (degraded carbides) otherwise forming when the continuous molding is restarted after interruption, color unevenness and burn. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin composition is a substantially chlorine- free polycarbonate produced from an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a carbonic diester by a transesterification method and containing the following very little component: (a) a content of an alkali metal or/and an alkaline earth metal of 800ppb or below, (b) a content of an aromatic monohydroxy compound of 200ppm or below, and a content (c) of oligomer components of a molecular weight of 1,000 or below and residual monomer of T2 wt.% or below [wherein T2 =1,520,000×(the weight-average molecular weight of the polycarbonate)<-1.44> ].
