PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a local immersion type ultrasonic probe which is more reduced in size and can execute high-accuracy ultrasonic inspections and an ultrasonic inspection device which is small sized and with high versatility and can evaluate the soundness of the surface layer of an object to be inspected with high accuracy to the end section of the object regardless of the thickness and kind of the base material, state of the bottom face, etc. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 is constituted in such a way that a through hole 3C is made from the upper surface of a vibrator 2 to the surface surface of an acoustic lens 3 at the central parts of the vibrator 2 and lens 3 and an ultrasonic medium supplying pipe 4 is set up in the hole 3C. An ultrasonic inspection device is constituted of an ultrasonic scanning section equipped with a local immersion type ultrasonic probe 1, the driving section of the scanning section, and an arithmetic processing section which controls the scanning section through the driving section and executes inspections on a coating film formed on the surface of a base material which is an object to be inspected for defects. |
