A positioning and conveyor table has a plate (16) and an electric driving mechanism like an electromagnet, electromotor, piezo drive or magnetostrictive drive for moving the plate with a magnetic bearing (30a), applying magnetic non-positive action configured between the plate and a positioning and conveyor table. A magnet with a bearing surface transmits or absorbs a magnetic field locating a free-moving magnetically conductive ball. The magnet and the ball form a non-positive magnetic connection. When the ball shifts from its steady position, the magnet tries to roll the ball back into the center of the lines of force in the magnetic field.
