<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to obtain accurate state information of a cross connection switch network by deciding a state of a connection link of an exchange and deciding number of available paths thereby attaining efficient routing in the cross connection switch network. SOLUTION: This system has a CLOS switch network 12 and a controller CNT 24. The network 12 has an input stage 18, an intermediate stage 20 and an output stage 22, and each stage has one exchange. Furthermore, the network 12 has a link (a) to connect exchanges in the stages 18, 20 and a link (b) to connect exchanges in the stages 20, 22. The CNT 24 decides the state of the links a, b, and indicates whether the state is idle or busy and calculates the number of available paths between exchanges. The calculation is conducted based on a confirmed state of the links a, b.</p> |
