A level adjust display apparatus for on-screen display menu in an image display device in which function control targets are displayed on a screen as an OSD menu wherein the indicated direction of the level adjustment means, the direction of the level display indicator, 29, 30, 31, 32 and the direction in which the function varies correspond. Preferably the level adjustments possible include a horizontal adjust and a vertical adjust and the level indicator includes a horizontal level indicator, 29, 30 and a vertical indicator 31, 32. Preferably the level display indicator comprises a pair of arrows which face towards each other if the level is decreasing and away from each other if the function is increasing. |
