PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improving method for combustion and apparatus therefore capable of preventing black smoke from being emitted and increasing fuel consumption effectively by completely burning gas oil in a diesel engine. SOLUTION: This improving method of combustion of a diesel engine using gas oil as fuel supplies natural gas or hydrocarbon fuel having a boiling point lower than that of the gas oil to the injection area of the gas oil injected from an injection nozzle 4 in the combustion chamber 5 of an engine for explosive combustion to completely burn the gas oil injected thereby, alternatively, mixes the gas oil, kerosene, and heavy oil from the air intake of a carburetor with air to be supplied, compressed, and exploded to the cylinder portion of the engine, and immediately thereafter the gas oil injected from the injection nozzle 4 is exploded an burned for complete combustion with a time difference. It is thus possible to reduce black smoke emitted from the diesel engine extremely and increase fuel consumption.
