PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool automatic exchange type screw fastener free to correspond without using a plural number of automatic screw fasteners even in the case of fastening a plural number of kinds of screws. SOLUTION: This screw fastener has a rotation transmission shaft 9 constituted free to reciprocate in a state free to rotate by receiving driving of an AC servo motor, a main driving bevel gear 11 free to rotate which is arranged so as to be engaged with and separated from the rotation transmission shaft 9 in accordance with reciprocal movement of this rotation transmission shaft 9, a turret head to rotate by receiving rotation of the main driving bevel gear 11 and a plural number of screw fastening tools arranged on this turret head. A cam groove 12 is formed on the rotation transmission shaft 9, and a needle type roller 13 to bite in between the rotation transmission shaft 9 and the main driving bevel gear 11 at the time when the rotation transmission shaft 9 is engaged with the main driving bevel gear 11 and rotates is arranged in the cam groove 12.
