PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having an adjustable tightening system capable of aligning a workpiece such as an intaglio printing cylinder in the optimum way, and holding it with large force. SOLUTION: This device has the tightening system 8 for aligning and holding the workpiece relative to a rotation axial line 3 of rotation shaft bearing devices 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4. The tightening system 8 is held to be perpendicularly movable to the rotation axial line 3. Operation members are provided, and the tightening system 8 is automatically controlled by the operation members for enabling precise aligning to be relatively movable to the rotation shaft bearing devices 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4. Rotation is measured by an interval sensor, for example. The operation members are composed and disposed so that aligning can be separately executed in two directions perpendicular to each other. The operation members are totalized with an integrally rotating part in a shift part between the rotation shaft bearing devices 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4 and the tightening system 8.
