PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently insert document elements at the time of operating a document where the document elements are structured into a nesting form. SOLUTION: In a step 801, the name of the document element to be inserted is inputted. In a step 802, all the names of the document elements which possibly have document element having the inputted document element name as content are detected and they are set to be master document element names. In a step S803, the document elements having the same name as the master document element and positions in the document element are detected. The detected position becomes the position into which the document element having the inputted document element name can be inserted. When the insertion possible position is detected, the insertion possible position in the shortest distance with an insertion cursor is obtained among the detected insertion possible positions and the position is set to be the insertion position in a step S805. In a step S806, the document element having the inputted document element name is inserted into the insertion position and it is displayed again. |
