PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce play in an operating lever without an increase in the number of parts and without a major interference of the parts by dimensional dispersion. SOLUTION: A pair of sidewall parts 40 and 42 of an operating lever 16 has tongues 58 and 60. When the operating lever 16 is mounted on a sector 12 by means of a support pin 14, the tongues 58 and 60 experience plastic deformation under such a prescribed deforming load as keeps the turning operation of the operating lever 16 intact. This deformation accommodates dimensional dispersion in those parts, including the thickness T of the sector 12, and the contact between the sector 12 and the tongues 58 and 60 prevents play in the operating lever 16 without any degraded feeling of operation of the operating lever 16.
|
