PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckwheat sprout-pruning unit capable of eliminating buckwheat husks. SOLUTION: This buckwheat sprout-culturing unit comprises a tray (10) for storing water (18), numerous needle-like projections (70) which are arranged on the inner base plate of the tray to support the buckwheat seeds (30), and a comb frame (80) which has numerous comb teeth (82) covering upper space of the tray (10), wherein buckwheat seeds (30) are scattered onto the tops of plural needle-like projections (70) and germinated so that stems (32) of the buckwheat sprouts grow upward above the tray (10) through clearance gaps between the comb teeth (82), and simultaneously buckwheat husks (36) attached to the tops (34) of the buckwheat sprouts are contacted and reserved with the bottom surface of the comb teeth (82) to be eliminated from the tops (34) of the buckwheat sprouts, and finally the comb teeth (82) are horizontally pulled out from the surroundings of the grown stems (32) of the buckwheat sprouts to obtain the buckwheat sprouts without husks. |
