FILM-FORMING STOCK SOLUTION AND PRODUCTION OF ETHYLENE- VINYL ALCOHOL POLYMER FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock solution useful for forming an ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer film low in permeability of albumin or the like even when solidified at high temperature and to provide a production method of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer film using the stock solution. SOLUTION: This stock solution comprises an ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer resin, an organic solvent and an additive and has a clouding sol region when the temperature of the stock solution of a transparent state at high temperature is lowered. The ethylene-vinyl alcohol polymer film is produced by a wet spinning method to extrude the film-forming stock solution directly to a solidifying bath under the condition satisfying Ta<T1 (wherein Ta is the solidifying temperature of the spun fiber; T1 is the clouding temperature of the stock solution in a fluidized state).
