PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure guide of sheets depending on the toughness of sheets. SOLUTION: A sheet carrier has an elastic guide member 138b provided at a combined point of plural sheet carrying passages 55, 57, through which sheets are guided, so as to be tilting at its downstream end in a sheet carrying direction while leaving at least one sheet carrying passage and blocking the other sheet carrying passage, a bent piece 138be bent along the combined point and formed at the downstream end of the guide member, and a thrusting means 58 for thrusting the guide member at its middle to the sheet carrying passages, the thrusting means being position-adjustable to the sheet carrying direction.
