PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen the operation in a tool such as long handle scissors for performing the operation of a cutter mounted at the tip of a pipe body through a connector by mounting a roller rotating within the pipe body in the connecting position of a plurality of members of the connector. SOLUTION: A tool body 1 comprises a cutter 3 at the tip of a pipe body 4 and a handle mount part 6 arranged on the base side, and the cutter 3 is opened and closed through a connector 5 inserted into the pipe body 4 by the rocking operation of a handle 2 rockably fixed to the mount part 6. The connector 5 is formed of slender plates 8 having connecting holes 10 on both end parts, a length-adjustable rod 9 arranged between the plate members 8, 8 on both ends, and a roller 1 of the size insertable into the pipe body 4. The roller 7 is rolled in the pipe body 4, whereby an operation force can be transmitted to the cutter 3 without any power loss in the operation of the handle 2.
