PURPOSE: A vehicle speed adaptive spoiler controller is provided to improve safety by contacting the vehicle to the road surface during traveling at high speed, and to use air resistance automatically by varying the spoiler corresponding to speed of the traveling vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A speed adaptive spoiler control apparatus is composed of a vehicle speed detecting unit(2) detecting vehicle speed; a spoiler(8) driven according to speed detected from the vehicle speed detecting unit, and combined with the upper part of a spoiler supporting part; a data memory(4) setting and storing the optimal angle of the spoiler; a control unit(10) outputting a control signal according to the detected vehicle speed and the spoiler angle; and a spoiler driving unit(6) having a motor driving the spoiler based on the control signal, gears transmitting driving force, and a belt. The vehicle is contacted to the road surface during high speed traveling with varying the spoiler according to vehicle speed, and safety is improved with using air resistance automatically for suddenly braking.
