PURPOSE: A seat of a vehicle is provided to protect a driver safely, and to form the space between the driver and a front structure by releasing a seat transfer lever with a lever release rod and pushing a seat sliding bracket with a piston. CONSTITUTION: A seat track(11), a seat sliding bracket(10) and a seat adjusting lever(3) are mounted in the lower part of a seat(2), and an operating cylinder(4) is installed between a front structure(1) and the seat adjusting lever. The operating cylinder is composed of a piston 1(5) of the front structure and a piston 2(8) of the seat, and fastened by a fixing bracket(6). Pistons are arranged in series, and the piston 2 having a lever release rod(7) is supported by a spring(9). The seat adjusting lever is released by the lever release rod with pushing the front structure at a collision, and the seat sliding bracket is pushed by the piston. The driver is protected safely with keeping the space between the driver and the front structure.
